We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The culture, the food, the scenery; could not have asked for a better location to start our adventures together. We made it a point to try and catch as much sunrises/sunsets during our stay and each one was amazing. Highlights of our trip included jumping the barriers at Lanai lookout to see the lava formations up close, relaxing on the white sand and crystal blue waters of Lanikai beach, snorkeling at Shark's Cove, watching sea turtles feed at Laniakea, and getting into Hawaiian culture at Polynesian Cultural Center. Can't wait to explore all the other islands next.
Here's our list of food that we miss sooo much.
Boot's and Kimo's Macadamia Nut Pancakes (had a dream about this the other day)
Helena's Hawaiian Food - Great for trying lots of traditional Hawaiian foods.
Aji Limo's Poke (great after snorkeling at Sharks Cove)
Shrimp trucks on the North Shore
Marakame Udon - Cheap, quick, and really good udon/tempura
Shaved ice - Lemona and Island Vintage Shave Ice in Waikiki
And no kidding, convenience store spam musubi
