American Southwest
Day 1 & 2: Zion

Arrived in Zion late afternoon in time to catch sunset at Canyon Junction

We caught the first bus in the morning to start the Narrows hike. We rented boots, socks, and a hiking stick the night before and are glad we did. The hiking sticks are 100% worth having for balance and seeing how deep parts of the water are. Round trip took ~4 hours as we decided to turn back around 40ish minutes past wall street.

Our upgraded car rental for the week! Had a blast dropping the top at Bryce/Canyonlands.
Day 3: Bryce + Capitol Reef

The Navajo Loop Trail

Pit stop at Capitol Reef National Park on the way to Moab.
Day 4 & 5: Canyonlands + Arches

Mesa Arch at Sunrise

Double Arch

We did the Delicate Arch hike during sunrise to avoid the crowds and heat. Probably not as pretty compared to sunset but we were glad to not hike this in the hot afternoon sun.
Day 5: Arches + Monument Valley + Page, AZ

Pit stop at Monument Valley

Horseshoe Bend at dusk. Warning: lots of tourists here.
Day 6: Antelope Canyon

Lower Antelope Canyon

Upper Antelope Canyon

Day 7: Grand Canyon

Day 8: Las Vegas
After a week of clif bars and sandwiches, we feasted at Bacchanal Buffet and got some Momofuku before our flight home.
