Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park, MT
7/16/2022 - 7/17/2022
We spent a weekend in Glacier National Park shortly after the Going to the Sun Road opened for the year! Reservations are needed to drive on the road but luckily we were able to get campground reservations at Fish Creek which grants access to the road. It's a very pretty and scenic drive and takes ~2 hours to drive through. Our first day we hung out at the Logan Pass area and camped at Fish Creek for the night. Our second day, we drove over to the Many Glacier area and loved the Swiss style chalet/views there. There's many chances to see wildlife here and in our short time there, we saw big horn sheep, deer, mountain goats, a black bear cub, and a moose! The drive over from Seattle takes ~9 hours and is pretty scenic at parts; but is very long so next time we'll probably fly :)
