We went to Melbourne for Emily's cousin's wedding and had a blast. Had a chance to explore the city and hang out with the family. Great food, amazing gelato at Messina, meat pie, and awesome company made for a great trip. Aside from the city, definitely recommend at least two days of driving along the Great Ocean Road. It's one of the most scenic coastline drives.
Things I learned in Australia:
'R' isn't pronounced sometimes
Melbourne is pronounced Melben
Mackers (Mackas) == MickeyD's
Mozzies == Mosquitos
Jumper == Sweater
Use 'keen' and 'reckon' a lot
But I forgot to check which way the toilet water flushes. Guess we have to go back.
