Maybe the start of Emily's Birthday tradition. We went back to Hawaii for Emily's Birthday after going to the Big Island a year ago in 2024. Kauai was our final island that we needed to visit and battles Maui for my personal favorite island. While Maui had more 'Wow' sights, its defintely high effort getting to those. Kauai felt more local, quiet, and easy to get around which made for a nice relaxing vacation. It was also very kid friendly with Lydgate beach and Poipu Beach being great places to keep Hailey entertained. Highlight of the trip has to be seeing the Napali Coast from a helicopter.
